Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber-optic networks.
- Learn and support fiber cable splicing, termination, and testing.
- Assist technicians with fiber-optic cable laying, routing, and connections.
- Conduct basic fiber testing using tools such as OTDR and power meters.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic fiber connectivity and network faults.
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber infrastructure.
- Follow safety procedures and technical standards during field operations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Work with senior fiber engineers and technicians on assigned projects.
- Perform other technical duties assigned by the supervisor.
