Job Description
As a Field Specialist – Completions & Wellbore Intervention, you will support field operations under broad direction within the assigned district. You will play an important role in executing wellbore intervention applications and supporting efficient service delivery for customers.
The role is part of Baker Hughes’ Completions & Wellbore Intervention team, which provides physical and digital solutions designed to improve efficiency, production and reservoir value.
Responsibilities
- Run multiple medium- to high-risk operations in one or more product lines within the Cased Hole Completions Product Group under supervisor direction.
- Expand and apply technical knowledge and expertise to increasingly complex and higher-risk Cased Hole Completions operations.
- Ensure supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment being used for the job.
- Provide frontline support to customers and accurately complete required paperwork before and after each job.
- Conduct on-the-job training for selected Cased Hole Completions applications as required.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes’ Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, legal compliance requirements and Core Values.
- Support smooth service delivery and effective field operations.
Requirements
- Two-year Technical Qualification or Associate’s Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in completions and wellbore intervention field operations.
- Knowledge of engineering concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different clients.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to quickly adjust to changing job assignments and requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
