Job Description

• Operate HEMVs safely, efficiently and courteously in compliance with traffic rules, company policies and applicable regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-operational checks on vehicles and HEMVs and promptly report malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Remain calm and focused when driving in high-stress situations, including traffic and adverse weather conditions.
• Move materials and products to designated locations using HEMVs as required.
• Plan driving routes in advance to improve trip efficiency and fuel consumption.
• Monitor and document fuel consumption to ensure accountability.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle operations and material movements in logbooks.
• Complete regular checklists and promptly report incidents, hazards and operational issues.
• Coordinate regular vehicle and HEMV servicing and proactively address mechanical issues.
• Clean vehicles and HEMVs regularly, both internally and externally.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Participate in safety training programmes and comply with operational guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Candidates should meet one of the following qualification and experience combinations:

• SSCE or equivalent with 8 years’ experience.
• Trade Test II with 16 years’ experience.
• National Diploma (ND).
• Trade Test I with 8 years’ experience.
• Valid Class H driving licence.
• High level of patience and carefulness.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and dedication.
