Job Title: HSE Executive

Role Summary
The HSE Executive will support plant safety activities, including workplace safety controls, PPE compliance, work permits, safety training, incident reporting and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safety in the working area and ensure proper machine guarding and general area guarding.
- Ensure personnel working in the plant practice good sanitation and hygiene and always use personal protective equipment.
- Ensure proper earthing connectivity and that workers use earthing during flammable material handling.
- Recommend hot work permits and vessel entry permits.
- Provide safety training to all employees.
- Train plant personnel on critical process parameters, material handling and MSDS for all chemicals.
- Release work permits for project or maintenance activities likely to affect the safety of operations and the plant.
- Ensure incidents, accidents and near misses are reported to the safety department.
- Create safety awareness among employees.
- Conduct mock drills.
- Ensure fire extinguishers are refilled according to schedule.
- Provide personal protective equipment.
Qualification and Experience
- B.Sc. or HND with HSE Level 3/ISPON certification.
- 5–8 years of HSE experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical or process manufacturing environment.
