Job Summary

VIJU Industries Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee the employee lifecycle, drive strategic recruitment, and implement effective personnel management practices. The successful candidate will help build a capable workforce while fostering a productive, compliant, and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for production, sales, and administrative roles.
Oversee daily HR operations, employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Ensure company policies and employment practices comply with Nigerian Labour Laws and relevant industry regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and databases.
Track employee attendance and provide support for payroll administration.
Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development programmes.
Support the development of staff capabilities, particularly for factory and field sales teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Personnel Management, or a related social science field.
3–5 years of proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Manager, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
CIPM certification is a major advantage.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
High emotional intelligence and a problem-solving mindset.
