Job Description

Sundry Foods Limited is seeking an Internal Auditor to advise management on the company’s internal control systems and business risk management within the assigned location.

The successful candidate will provide assurance on the quality and cost-effectiveness of internal controls and support management in achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Internal Auditor will carry out regular reviews and spot checks to ensure that:

• Company assets are safeguarded against significant losses caused by fraud, waste, inefficiency and commercially unsound practices.
• Relevant laws, policies, rules, regulations and established procedures are complied with.
• Operations are conducted effectively, efficiently and economically in line with company policies and procedures.
• Management information systems are reliable and secure.
• Systems under development have appropriate internal controls that are consistent with the company’s business needs.
• Significant business risks are effectively identified and managed.
• Major business projects achieve their intended objectives.
• Management receives appropriate assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of Second-Class Lower.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
