Job Duties
- Under broad direction, coordinate inventory planning requirements to provide seamless integration of supply chain and operations processes for one or more Product Service Lines (PSLs).
- Gather business outlook from PSLs and Business Development (BD) and execute the inventory plan against the PSL demand plan to achieve optimised inventory levels.
- Plan activities such as reviewing forecasts and replenishment recommendations generated by inventory planning tools.
- Lead inventory planning meetings and ensure actions arising from these meetings are executed.
- Provide coaching and training to Material Control Specialists and, in some cases, serve as team lead for small work groups or project teams.
- Have a direct impact and responsibility for meeting financial goals and objectives for the business.
Qualifications
- Completion of a two-year degree is required.
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Engineering / Applied Mathematics, Finance / Accounting or Business is preferred.
- Six years of related experience in materials management, including experience in procurement or logistics, or a four-year degree plus two years of related work experience is required.
- Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems are required.
Compensation
