About Alliance Française
The Alliance Française of Lagos is a Nigerian non-for-profit institution dedicated to promoting the French language, Francophone cultures and cultural diversity. Based in Ikoyi and Ikeja, Lagos, it offers French classes for different audiences, professional translation services for private and corporate clients, and cultural events including exhibitions, screenings and concerts throughout the year. The Alliance Française of Lagos is part of a worldwide associative network created more than 135 years ago in Paris. The network is established in 133 countries and welcomes nearly 500,000 learners every year. In Nigeria, Alliances Françaises are present in cities including Ilorin, Kaduna, Kano, Jos, Maiduguri, Enugu, Owerri, Port Harcourt and Ibadan.
