UAC Foods is recruiting qualified and experienced professionals to fill two positions in its Lagos operations. The available roles are Factory HSE Manager and Maintenance Controller.
1. Factory HSE Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
The Factory HSE Manager will coordinate and implement Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programmes, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and GMP standards. The role involves conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, implementing preventive measures and promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements:
- BSc or HND in Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related HSE field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
- NEBOSH and ISPON certifications are required.
2. Maintenance Controller
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
The Maintenance Controller will oversee the reliability, preventive maintenance and optimal performance of production assets. The role includes supervising Shift Maintenance Engineers, managing maintenance activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Requirements:
- B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in engineering and maintenance roles.
- NSE Membership, COREN certification or CMRP certification is required.
- Strong leadership, maintenance management and problem-solving skills.
