Job Summary
Wema Bank Plc is seeking a proactive and people-focused Junior HR Business Partner to support its South Region operations while being based in Benin City, Edo State. The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR contact for assigned branches, driving employee engagement, recruitment, performance management, employee relations and culture initiatives.

- Provide HR support and advisory services to managers and employees across the South Region.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee integration activities.
- Drive employee engagement, culture and staff wellness initiatives.
- Support performance management and talent development processes.
- Handle employee relations matters and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Prepare HR reports and provide workforce insights to support decision-making.
- Conduct periodic branch visits and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management or Employee Relations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the South Region as required.
