Job Purpose
To supervise, coordinate and implement electrical maintenance activities on milling equipment to ensure optimal equipment reliability, safety and operational efficiency, while promoting effective resource utilisation and maintenance cost management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities on milling equipment to ensure reliable and uninterrupted plant operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, statutory electrical installation codes and company standards.
- Plan, allocate and schedule maintenance tasks among electrical technicians to optimise resources and minimise downtime.
- Ensure the timely availability of spare parts, materials and tools required for maintenance activities.
- Monitor spare parts usage, tool handling and maintenance workmanship to minimise waste and rework.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement initiatives to reduce downtime, repair time and maintenance costs.
- Assess team performance, identify skills gaps and provide training, coaching and mentoring to improve technical competence and productivity.
- Ensure the timely completion of work orders and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checklists.
Requirements
Interested candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- Trade Test Grade qualification.
- An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
