Job Purpose:
The NYSC Engineer will work within multidisciplinary teams to support workflow efficiency and contribute to the successful execution of projects. This role is designed for fresh graduates currently undergoing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, providing them with hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.
Job Description:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
- Support senior engineers in the development of conceptual designs, detailed engineering, and construction management.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within set timelines.
- Perform routine tasks such as data collection, analysis, and reporting to support project progress.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance technical and professional skills.
Job Specification:
- Educational Qualification: B.Eng or HND in any Engineering field from an accredited tertiary institution.
- Academic Requirement: Not lower than a 2.2 CGPA.
- NYSC Status: Must be currently undergoing the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic engineering software is an advantage.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
