The company produces premium lubricating oils, greases and related products for the automotive and industrial sectors, supported by a network of authorised distributors across Nigeria.
Headquartered in Nigeria, CDN Oil and Lubricant Limited also has representative offices in the UAE and other parts of the world. The company commenced production of automotive engine oils and lubricants in the UAE in 2019 and announced the local blending and packaging of its products in Nigeria in 2024.
Job Description
CDN Oil and Lubricant Limited is seeking a creative, talented and technically capable NYSC Corp Member currently serving in Abuja to join the organisation as a Videographer, Video Editor and Photographer.
The successful candidate will capture and produce high-quality visual content for corporate activities, products, projects, events, marketing initiatives and general communications.
Key Responsibilities
Videography
- Capture high-quality video content for corporate activities, events, products, projects and promotional purposes.
- Assist in planning and executing video shoots.
- Operate cameras, smartphones, stabilisers, microphones, lighting equipment and other relevant equipment.
- Ensure proper framing, composition, lighting and audio quality.
- Cover organisational events, field activities, customer engagements and other assignments as required.
Video Editing
- Edit raw footage into professional and engaging videos.
- Produce corporate, promotional, documentary, interview, event and short-form video content.
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, music, sound effects and other post-production elements.
- Ensure finished videos meet the required quality and format for their intended use.
- Properly organise and archive raw footage and completed video projects.
Photography
- Capture professional photographs of products, staff, events, corporate activities, facilities and other organisational engagements.
- Apply appropriate principles of composition, lighting, focus and visual presentation.
- Edit and retouch photographs where necessary.
- Maintain an organised archive of photographic materials.
Creative Content Support
- Contribute creative ideas for visual content and promotional campaigns.
- Assist in developing concepts, storyboards and visual approaches for assigned projects.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Management teams to develop content that effectively communicates the organisation’s activities and brand.
- Support other creative and media-related assignments as required.
Requirements
- Degree, HND or OND in Mass Communication, Film Production, Photography, Digital Media, Communications or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Must be a currently serving NYSC Corp Member.
- Must be serving in Abuja, FCT.
- Demonstrable practical experience or competence in videography, photography and video editing.
- Proficiency in at least one video-editing application such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of photography and image-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom is an advantage.
- Good understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, sound and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Additional Advantage
- Knowledge of social media content creation and management is an added advantage but is not a core requirement.
- Understanding how to adapt photographs and videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X may be an additional advantage.
