Job Summary
Golden Penny Foods is recruiting a Packing Line Supervisor for its Premium Edible Oil Products operations in Ibadan. The successful candidate will supervise bottling and margarine packaging operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of product quality, food safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bottling and margarine packaging operations to ensure smooth production activities.
- Ensure products meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor production performance and ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Ensure operators follow approved process parameters and operating procedures.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Plan production activities to minimise line changeovers, downtime, and material wastage.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, safety, and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to maximise production line efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and supervise operators and third-party personnel to improve productivity and performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised production environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Technology, Production Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a production or packaging supervisory role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, GMP, FSMS, and quality standards.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while meeting operational targets.
