The Sun Group entered the plastics industry in 1991 through the acquisition of a plant in Sango Ota, Ogun State. A second plant was commissioned in Lagos in 2000, and both facilities were merged at one location in Ogun State in 2015.
Operating as Bright Products Limited and Sunplast Industries Limited, the company uses modern injection moulding machines sourced from China, India and Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch of packing materials and finished products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate the timely replenishment of packing materials.
- Supervise store personnel and ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control, Sales and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor stock movement, minimise losses, damage and discrepancies, and ensure proper material handling.
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory variances.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, safe storage and an organised warehouse environment.
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5–7 years’ relevant experience in packing store, warehouse or inventory management within a manufacturing company.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory documentation and warehouse management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Excellent supervisory, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, accuracy and accountability.
