Medmax Pharmacy Limited is recruiting a skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join its team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions.
Advise patients on medication usage, dosages, side effects and possible drug interactions.
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical laws and regulatory requirements.
Manage inventory, monitor stock levels and track medicine expiry dates.
Ensure proper handling and storage of cold-chain products.
Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and support safe medication practices.
Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Strong clinical knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions and medication dosages.
Ability to review and verify prescriptions carefully to minimise errors.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain medication instructions empathetically.
Experience in inventory management, including stock control, expiry monitoring and cold-chain storage.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Commitment to patient safety and continuous professional development.
Valid professional licence and relevant qualifications required to practise as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.
