Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Teach students key Physics concepts and principles using clear and practical explanations.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments and assessments.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and experiments where appropriate.
- Assess students’ understanding and academic progress through tests, assignments and examinations.
- Provide guidance and feedback to help students improve their performance.
- Maintain an organised and supportive classroom environment.
- Encourage students to develop problem-solving, analytical and scientific thinking skills.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Physics, Physics Education, Science Education or a related field.
- BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school environment.
- Good knowledge of Physics concepts and practical applications.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain scientific and mathematical concepts clearly to students.
- Passion for teaching and supporting students’ academic development.
