Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Teach students key Physics concepts and principles using clear and practical explanations.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments and assessments.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and experiments where appropriate.
• Assess students’ understanding and academic progress through tests, assignments and examinations.
• Provide guidance and feedback to help students improve their performance.
• Maintain an organised and supportive classroom environment.
• Encourage students to develop problem-solving, analytical and scientific thinking skills.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Physics, Physics Education, Science Education or a related field.
• BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school environment.
• Good knowledge of Physics concepts and practical applications.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain scientific and mathematical concepts clearly to students.
• Passion for teaching and supporting students’ academic development.
