KPMG Professional Services is recruiting Production Operations Officers to support maintenance planning, scheduling, resource coordination, work pack preparation and execution support for oil and gas clients.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated maintenance plans and schedules.
Prepare execution-ready work packs, including task lists, job steps, resources and execution sequences.
Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors and specialist support.
Liaise with operations, maintenance, procurement, logistics and contractor teams.
Manage materials, spare parts and equipment readiness for scheduled maintenance.
Support field execution teams with schedule updates and work scope adjustments.
Incorporate operational risks, asset priorities and schedule constraints into planning.
Participate in planning reviews, Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) sessions and backlog management meetings.
Support risk-based maintenance planning.
Provide execution support to improve schedule performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations/Maintenance Management or a related field.
Minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) degree.
3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, production operations, maintenance execution support or asset integrity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP, CMMS or asset management platforms.
Power BI or similar reporting tools experience is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as P6, APICS/ASCM, NEBOSH or Six Sigma are an advantage.
Experience in oil and gas, energy or large industrial environments is preferred.
