Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Health Manager for the Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) Cluster, the Programme Associate will provide programme and administrative support to facilitate the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of UNICEF programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with programme, finance, operations, and supply teams, as well as government ministries, NGOs, and development partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project implementation and partnership activities.
- Support programme planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage programme data, analysis, and reporting.
- Track grants, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Improve operational efficiency through digital tools and innovation.
- Facilitate communication, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and capacity-building activities.
- Provide surge support and other programme-related assistance as required.
Requirements
- Completion of secondary education.
- Minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and report-writing abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with digital tools, business systems, and AI-powered productivity tools.
- Fluency in English.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a relevant local language.
- Professional or university courses related to the field.
- Experience working in development, humanitarian, or fragile settings.
