Quality Assurance Officer

West African Cubes Limited was established in 2017 with the aim of redefining the West African culinary space by manufacturing a distinct range of food products. Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards before they reach the market.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards.
- Analyze packaging materials to ensure they meet safety and quality requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
- Train and educate staff on quality assurance standards and practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND/BSc in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a relevant field.
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a tomato mix plant.
- Evidence of food safety training in HACCP and GMP.
- Experience in packaging material analysis is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and with minimum supervision.
- Readiness to align with company HSE policy and procedures.
