Job Summary
Nigerian Polyvinyl Chloride Products Limited is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join its Quality Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials and products, conducting quality checks and ensuring production output meets approved specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process production and finished products.
- Conduct quality checks and measurements according to specifications.
- Monitor product dimensions, thickness/micron, appearance and other quality parameters.
- Identify, document and report defective or non-conforming products.
- Ensure production output meets approved customer and company specifications.
- Carry out routine quality tests and maintain accurate QC records.
- Work closely with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with established QC procedures and standards.
- Perform any other quality-related duties assigned by the QC Supervisor/HOD.
Requirements
- OND, HND or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in plastic or polythene manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of quality inspection procedures and documentation.
- Ability to work shifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Good attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
- Must be willing to work in Kano and the Challawa Industrial Area.
- Gender: Male preferred.
