Greensprings School is an independent, non-partisan day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 18 months to 18 years. Founded in 1985 in the heart of Anthony Village, Lagos, we have since expanded to include a state-of-the-art campus on the Lekki Peninsula. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our team at our Ikoyi campus.
Position: School Counselor
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.
- Assist students in overcoming personal challenges that may impact their academic performance and well-being.
- Develop and implement programs that promote mental health, resilience, and positive behavior in the school community.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify and address students’ needs.
- Guide students through educational and career planning, helping them make informed decisions about their future.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and interventions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Guidance & Counselling or related fields.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
