Job Summary
Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited is seeking a Senior Purchaser to manage sourcing and purchasing activities required to support the organisation’s operations, including vessel and RC requirements. The role involves identifying suitable suppliers, negotiating favourable commercial terms, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase goods and services required to support organisational operations.
- Identify suitable suppliers and available solutions based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Negotiate favourable prices, product specifications, and other purchasing terms.
- Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase order information.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local suppliers on technical and commercial matters.
- Support the development and maintenance of the supplier database.
- Support the tender process to promote value for money, operational efficiency, and continuity of supply.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure goods and services are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Support purchasing activities relating to vessel and RC requirements.
