TGI Group, through West African Soy Industries Limited (WASIL), is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to support maintenance and engineering operations at its manufacturing facility in Sagamu, Ogun State.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance activities.
• Organise routine servicing schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Allocate tasks and supervise a team of fitters.
• Inspect and calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and replace defective parts.
• Maintain accurate statistical and financial records relating to maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety legislation.
• Adhere strictly to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Ensure personal data is collected, processed and used only for authorised purposes, maintaining confidentiality and obtaining consent where required.
• Comply with applicable FSSC, Feed Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and QMS requirements relevant to the role.

Requirements

• OND or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process industries, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing.
• Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects.
