Global Rainbowbird Partners is recruiting on behalf of its client, a reputable secondary school located in Okota, Lagos, to fill the following positions.

Job Summary

The school is seeking passionate, competent and experienced Subject Teachers, as well as an experienced School Principal, to deliver excellent lessons, inspire students and maintain high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in the relevant subject area.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments and assessments.
• Teach in accordance with the school curriculum and established academic standards.
• Assess students’ performance, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Identify students’ learning needs and provide appropriate support.
• Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, grades and academic progress.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and school management regarding students’ progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, training and other school activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in the relevant subject area from a recognised institution.
• Previous teaching experience at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the subject being taught and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare lesson notes, set assessments and evaluate students’ performance.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to students’ academic development.
• Good interpersonal skills, professionalism, patience and integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow school policies.
• Relevant teaching certification, such as TRCN registration, is an advantage.
• Availability to resume immediately and work in Okota, Lagos.

Remuneration

• Subject Teachers: ₦150,000–₦200,000 monthly, depending on experience.
• School Principal: Salary negotiable.
