Job Summary
OPSL Capital Ventures Limited is recruiting on behalf of a client in the IT/Tech industry for the position of SunSystems Technical Consultant. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals with strong expertise in Infor SunSystems implementation, cloud migration, and financial systems consulting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting Infor SunSystems and related third-party solutions. Working closely with clients and business stakeholders, you will deliver reliable financial system solutions, optimise business processes, and provide expert technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
Reporting to the Head of Consulting, you will play a key role in delivering successful implementations, migrations, and ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and support Infor SunSystems and third-party applications.
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Provide technical expertise across SunSystems modules, integrations, and cloud deployments.
- Design and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Work closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and data migration projects.
- Deliver user training and provide ongoing technical support.
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and process guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Infor SunSystems, including migration to Infor SunSystems Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of SSRS and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proven experience leading at least three complete Infor SunSystems and Q&A upgrade or migration projects to Infor Cloud as a Project or Technical Team Lead.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is an added advantage.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Experience in ERP implementation, customisation, and technical support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting workflows, ERP integrations, and related financial applications.
