Key Responsibilities
- Conduct organisation-wide Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and coordinate annual learning and development plans.
- Coordinate staff training, induction, orientation, leadership development and other capacity-building programmes.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the hospital’s performance management system.
- Coordinate performance appraisal exercises and monitor timely completion across departments.
- Work with managers to develop SMART objectives and measurable KPIs for employees.
- Analyse performance gaps and coordinate appropriate interventions and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Identify high-performing and high-potential employees and maintain appropriate talent and competency records.
- Support succession planning, career development, mentoring and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees.
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys, analyse feedback and recommend practical improvement initiatives.
- Support employee recognition, retention and organisational culture programmes.
- Analyse HR and workforce data to identify trends in performance, training, engagement, retention and employee development.
- Support organisational development, workforce planning and change-management initiatives.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual talent and organisational development reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Sociology, Management, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years’ relevant HR experience, preferably involving Learning & Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Employee Engagement or Organisational Development.
- Experience within a hospital, healthcare organisation or structured service environment will be an added advantage.
- Professional certification or membership such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or CIPD will be an added advantage.
