Job Summary

The Trailer Operation Officer will manage the allocation and reallocation of trailers to truck heads, maintain accurate records in truck logbooks and follow up on trailer repairs and maintenance with the workshop.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow up on the repair of all trailers with the workshop.
• Allocate and reallocate trailers to truck heads and maintain accurate records in truck logbooks.
• Research historical data related to company equipment.
• Report all pending assignments to the Transport Manager daily.
• Ensure the timely and proper maintenance of trailers.
• Coordinate the timely repositioning of trailing equipment.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• HND or B.Eng. in a related technical or operational field.
• COREN certification or another relevant technical certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field.
