Job Summary
The Waiter / Bartender will provide exceptional service to guests across the hotel’s restaurants, bars and lounges. The successful candidate will deliver warm hospitality, pay close attention to guests’ needs and demonstrate knowledge of food, beverages, wine and cocktails to ensure an excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to guests and ensure prompt attention to their needs.
- Take orders and serve food and beverages.
- Manage assigned tables efficiently.
- Maintain good knowledge of menus, wine lists and cocktails.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other hotel departments.
- Participate in wine and menu training programmes.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and safety standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in hospitality or food and beverage is desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry and move heavy trays.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of fine dining, wine and cocktails.
- Certification in wine or mixology.
- Experience using point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices.
