About the Role

MeWe Electronics is seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, storage, and distribution activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse processes, accurate inventory records, timely order fulfilment, and proper handling and storage of electronic and household appliances.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organisational, inventory management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
• Manage the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products and materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Ensure products are properly labelled, stored, and organised within the warehouse.
• Supervise warehouse staff and assign duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to support business operations.
• Implement and maintain effective warehouse procedures and inventory control systems.
• Monitor damaged, defective, or returned products and ensure appropriate documentation and handling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements, and operational standards.
• Prepare regular inventory and warehouse performance reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce losses, and optimise operating costs.
• Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel to maintain high performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the consumer electronics, home appliance, FMCG, or related industry is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, and distribution processes.
• Experience managing and supervising warehouse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse, ERP, or inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
