Medmax Pharmacy Limited is recruiting a Registered Nurse to support its pharmacy operations and deliver excellent customer service. The successful candidate will assist with prescription processing, inventory management, administrative duties and customer support while referring medication-related enquiries to the pharmacist.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers, answer basic enquiries and process over-the-counter (OTC) sales.
Handle cash, credit and point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
Refer medication-related questions to the pharmacist.
Receive written and electronic prescriptions and assist with preparing labels, counting tablets and packaging medications for pharmacist verification.
Receive and arrange pharmaceutical deliveries.
Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates and rotate products using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
Report low-stock items to the pharmacist for reordering.
Maintain clean shelves, storage areas, counters and workstations.
Protect patient confidentiality, schedule consultations and maintain prescription records.
Ensure proper disposal of expired or damaged medications.
Follow established safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

Relevant nursing qualifications and current professional registration or licence to practise in Nigeria.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle administrative tasks and basic sales transactions accurately.
Understanding of patient confidentiality, hygiene and safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare personnel.
