The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was established by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to, among other responsibilities, organise elections for various political offices in the country.

Requirements
Applicants should meet one of the following eligibility categories:
- NYSC: Serving Corps members.
- Former NYSC: Former Corps members who completed their service not earlier than three years before the date of the election, specifically in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Federal & State Tertiary Institutions: Students in their penultimate year, as well as students in Year 2 and Year 3 of study with IT knowledge.
- MDAs (Federal and State): Permanent staff with OND or NCE qualifications and on GL 07–14.
Basic Requirements
- Applicants must not be members of any political party.
- Applicants must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or political party.
- Applicants must reside in the state selected during the application process.
