Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Baker to join our team at our Ajah, Badore outlet.

The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and pastries while ensuring that all products meet the company’s quality, hygiene and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake different types of bread and pastries according to established recipes and standards.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to achieve consistent product quality.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures and overall production processes.
• Ensure all baked products are properly prepared, presented and stored.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness within the baking area.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients and baking equipment.
• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Minimise wastage of ingredients and finished products.
• Keep the baking area, equipment and work surfaces clean and organised.
• Follow all company food safety, health and hygiene standards.
• Work effectively with other kitchen and restaurant staff.
• Perform other baking-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker.
• Practical experience in bread and pastry production.
• Good knowledge of baking techniques, measurements and ingredients.
• Ability to produce consistent and quality bread and pastries.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be hardworking, reliable and responsible.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
