The company is recruiting for the position of Branch Expansion Manager. The successful candidate will lead the Bank’s branch expansion strategy and execution across Nigeria.

This is a senior role responsible for managing the expansion process end-to-end, including market and site selection, regulatory approvals, build-out, branch activation and full operational and commercial readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank’s branch expansion strategy and execution across Nigeria.
• Manage the end-to-end branch expansion process, from market and site selection through regulatory approvals and build-out to branch activation.
• Ensure new branches achieve full operational and commercial readiness.
• Lead and coordinate multi-location and nationwide branch rollout programmes.
• Manage stakeholders involved in branch expansion and ensure timely delivery of expansion projects.
• Provide strong team leadership and performance management throughout the branch expansion process.
• Support regulatory approval processes and ensure expansion activities meet applicable requirements.
• Engage with senior management, the Board and Board Committees on branch expansion initiatives and progress.
• Monitor expansion activities and ensure effective execution across multiple locations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in banking, financial services or fintech.
• At least 5 years’ experience at senior or managerial level in branch expansion, distribution or retail network management.
• Banking or fintech experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience leading multi-location or nationwide branch rollouts.
• Strong team leadership and performance management skills.
• Proven experience engaging with Boards and Board Committees is non-negotiable.
• Strong understanding of branch expansion, distribution and retail network operations.
