Job Summary
Golden Penny Food is recruiting a Dispatch Manager B2C for its Supply Chain operations in Iganmu, Lagos. The successful candidate will oversee outbound logistics and transportation activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective product deliveries in the right quantities and in excellent condition while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in developing and implementing annual logistics plans, work programmes, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage dispatch operations to ensure timely loading, efficient truck turnaround, and prompt customer deliveries.
- Monitor logistics performance, identify process gaps, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure transportation and dispatch activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, transporters, and third-party logistics providers to facilitate smooth operations.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, dispatch, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to improve operational performance.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in an FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environment is an added advantage.
- Professional certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
