Job Title: Repossession Officer

About the Role
- We are looking for a Repossession Officer to support our recovery operations in Abuja. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in loan recovery, asset recovery, debt collection, repossession, or a related field and be comfortable with field-based recovery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits and follow up with customers on outstanding obligations.
- Locate and recover company assets from customers with delinquent accounts.
- Manage assigned recovery cases and ensure timely resolution.
- Engage customers professionally to negotiate repayment or recovery arrangements.
- Work with relevant internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate successful recoveries.
- Maintain accurate records of recovery activities, customer interactions, and recovered assets.
- Prepare regular reports on assigned accounts, recovery progress, and outstanding cases.
- Ensure all recovery activities are carried out professionally and in line with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Escalate difficult or sensitive cases appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in loan recovery, debt collection, asset recovery, repossession, or a related role.
- Experience handling field recovery activities is an added advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet recovery targets.
- Must be based in Abuja or willing to work from Abuja.
- A valid driver’s licence and ability to navigate Abuja independently would be an advantage.

Requirements
