Electrical / IT Support Officer
Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 monthly
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, network devices and other IT equipment.
- Provide technical support to staff and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, Wi-Fi systems and other networking equipment.
- Manage user accounts, system access, software installations and basic cybersecurity requirements.
- Monitor IT equipment and network performance and respond to system faults.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, backups and troubleshooting of IT systems.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, repairs, configurations and inventory.
- Assist with CCTV, access control, intercom and other low-voltage technology systems where required.
- Install, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems.
- Carry out basic electrical wiring, socket and lighting installations and equipment connections.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify potential power-related problems affecting IT equipment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates should have relevant qualifications and practical knowledge in IT support and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware, software, networking and electrical faults.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches and Wi-Fi systems.
- Ability to perform basic electrical installations and maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond promptly to technical issues.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
