Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical equipment in accordance with construction requirements, including distribution cabinets, motors, and lighting systems.
- Ensure correct wiring, secure installations, and compliance with electrical safety and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned electrical equipment, monitoring operating conditions, voltage, frequency parameters, and component connections.
- Identify electrical faults, detect potential hazards, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement appropriate repair solutions.
- Report unresolved technical issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replaced components.
- Analyse repair cases and prepare maintenance summaries to support equipment reliability and performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Applicants must be between 20 and 35 years old.
- OND or HND qualification.
- One to three years of relevant work experience.
- An electrician’s certificate is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical control systems and their operation.
- Ability to identify electrical faults, troubleshoot equipment, and carry out repairs safely.
