Job Summary
The Executive Operations Assistant will provide high-level operational and strategic support to the Managing Director, Partners, and wider Group leadership. The role goes beyond conventional administrative assistance, requiring the successful candidate to coordinate complex activities, manage executive communications, facilitate stakeholder relationships, and ensure important decisions and actions are effectively followed through.
The ideal candidate should be highly organised, discreet, commercially aware, and capable of working across different sectors and cultures in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role will cover the following key areas:
- Calendar, travel, and office operations.
- Strategic meeting documentation and follow-up.
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholders.
- Executive communication and representation.
- Financial modelling and commercial support.
- Information management and efficient use of digital systems.
- Coordination of special corporate initiatives and operational priorities.
- Supporting the Managing Director and Partners in maintaining effective execution across the Group.
Requirements and Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, International Relations, or another analytical discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience supporting C-suite executives, managing partners, senior officials, or equivalent leadership positions.
- Experience in consulting, investment banking, government advisory, or another fast-paced professional environment.
- Practical exposure to government institutions, regulators, or Development Finance Institution (DFI) counterparts is desirable.
- Strong ability to listen, analyse information, and clearly communicate decisions and follow-up actions.
- Ability to work comfortably across financial, governmental, technical, and commercial discussions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, even without formal authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional presence and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures and markets.
- Experience working across Nigeria, Namibia, or other international markets is an advantage.
