Job Summary
Talenture Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer Intern to join its technology team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. This internship is designed for recent graduates or NYSC members looking to gain practical experience in building and maintaining modern web applications while working alongside experienced software engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
- Build and maintain features across the front-end and back-end of web applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI mock-ups into responsive and accessible web interfaces.
- Work with APIs, databases, and server-side logic to deliver functional applications.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the application stack.
Collaboration & Software Development
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers.
- Contribute to sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and team discussions.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be a current NYSC corps member or have recently completed NYSC.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React or Vue.
- Basic understanding of back-end development concepts, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
- Exposure to at least one back-end language or framework such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java.
- Working knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Personal projects or a GitHub portfolio showcasing full stack development work.
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Basic understanding of RESTful API development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or PyTest.
