Job Summary

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel and helping create a memorable and unique guest experience. The role involves a wide range of housekeeping functions, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas, stocking carts and responding to guest requests.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to maintaining high standards throughout the hotel and will be expected to move around the property as needed to ensure guests have a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas.
• Clean and prepare rooms to the required quality standards.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
• Respond to guest requests and provide appropriate assistance.
• Help ensure that all areas of the hotel contribute to a positive guest experience.
• Follow company policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle guest information appropriately.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance and communication style.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
• Stand, sit and walk for extended periods as required.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (approximately 23 kg) without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to perform a range of housekeeping and cleanliness-related duties.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to respond professionally to guest requests.
• Ability to work effectively while moving around the hotel for extended periods.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
• Professional appearance and communication.
• Willingness to follow company policies, procedures and safety standards.
