Job Summary
The Hotel Manager will be responsible for coordinating hotel operations, managing staff across departments, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should be energetic, proactive, well-organised, professional, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage staff across various hotel departments.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, reservations, bookings, and overall operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
- Develop strategies to improve occupancy rates, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Manage inventory, supplies, maintenance, and other operational requirements.
- Prepare regular operational reports and provide updates to management.
- Ensure effective coordination between the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments.
- Identify operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions to improve service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of hotel operations, reservations, housekeeping, and front desk procedures.
- Ability to manage staff, work under pressure, and make sound decisions.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and financial management skills.
- Professional appearance, proactive attitude, and good interpersonal skills.
- A Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.
