Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership: Serve as the core HR backbone for the appliance trading group, independently owning the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit and optimising SOPs across retail outlets and warehouses without requiring managerial oversight.
Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Act as the local expert on the Nigerian Labour Act, conduct internal audits, manage personnel files, pre-audit payroll, and autonomously resolve labour disputes to ensure operational compliance.
Data-Driven Operations: Utilise HRIS and advanced Excel skills to analyse labour costs and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making.
Full-Spectrum Execution: Manage recruitment, training, and performance management, including KPI processes, from end to end.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, specifically within the Nigerian industry.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure, cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to conduct basic conversations in Chinese and act as a communication bridge between Chinese staff and local employees.
