Job Description
VFD Group is seeking an Investor Relations Lead to manage communications between the Group and the investment community. The role will shape how investors and analysts understand the company’s performance, financial results and growth strategy.
The successful candidate will coordinate quarterly earnings calls, support shareholder and sell-side analyst communications, build investor relationships and support the Group’s annual meeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop investor relations strategies and communication plans.
- Draft press releases, investor presentations, annual reports and other communications.
- Obtain necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.
- Execute investor relations activities that enhance transparency and investor confidence.
- Establish measurable milestones and KPIs for relevant frameworks and policies.
- Develop strategies for managing relationships with external stakeholders.
- Draft external communications and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and analysts.
- Develop tailored communication strategies for institutional investors.
- Review and update relevant frameworks and policies annually based on previous-year learnings.
- Understand and implement the requirements of the J10 policy in line with Board directives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop frameworks for assessing economic indicators and their potential impact on the organisation.
- Support informed decision-making through relevant market and economic insights.
- Promote a sales and revenue-focused culture across the organisation.
- Develop initiatives to encourage a sales-first mindset and monitor adoption.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Finance, Business or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certification.
- 8–12+ years of experience in investor relations, research, financial analysis or related roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and economic trends.
- Ability to analyse financial statements and interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with investors, analysts and senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to monitor industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.
