Job Description
Guangzhou Mengsen Technologies is recruiting an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead and manage its technology infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, applications and payment technology environment.
The successful candidate will ensure reliable, secure and efficient IT services across the organisation while providing technical leadership to the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, networks, systems and applications.
- Design, implement and monitor network and cybersecurity solutions.
- Ensure the security, availability and performance of IT systems.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers, access controls and network monitoring.
- Develop, maintain and troubleshoot applications and integrations using Java and JavaScript.
- Support and manage EMV, card payment, POS, switching, transaction processing and other payment technologies.
- Implement IT security policies, backup strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, security threats and unauthorised access.
- Lead the troubleshooting of complex hardware, software, network and application issues.
- Manage IT vendors, technology partners, licences and third-party service providers.
- Lead IT projects, system upgrades, integrations and technology implementations.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset management records and technical standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a managerial or senior technical role.
- Strong experience in network administration and cybersecurity.
- Solid knowledge of Java and JavaScript, including application troubleshooting and integration.
- Practical experience with EMV and payment/card technology is highly desirable.
- Experience with POS, payment gateways, transaction processing, ISO 8583, ATMs or payment switching is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing and network security.
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments, databases, APIs and system integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to critical IT and security incidents.
