Job Summary
The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT operations at the site and providing effective technical support to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted business operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and ERP systems.
- Oversee all IT-related activities at the site.
- Install, configure and maintain end-user devices, including operating system deployment, system upgrades and hardware troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve software, login and Active Directory access issues.
- Support network and shared printers, including driver configuration and scan-to-email or scan-to-folder troubleshooting.
- Provide first-line ERP support by resolving user access issues and transaction errors, while escalating system bugs when necessary across SAP and other business applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and email configuration within the Google environment.
- Log and resolve incidents through the helpdesk system while ensuring SLA compliance and user satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS and VPN access.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator and Google Platforms certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification for service management environments.
- 3–5 years of experience in end-user technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops, printers and scanners.
- Hands-on experience with Windows operating system installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Experience managing user accounts in Active Directory.
- Basic understanding of networking, including LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS and VPN.
