Avetium Consult is recruiting to fill the position of IT Service Monitoring and Operations Officer in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure and services, analysing system performance, identifying technical issues and working with IT teams to ensure service availability, reliability and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse IT services to ensure optimal performance, availability and security.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and services using appropriate monitoring tools.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues to minimise downtime.
- Analyse performance data and recommend improvements to optimise IT services.
- Collaborate with IT teams to investigate and resolve incidents.
- Prepare reports and provide relevant insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT monitoring, help desk support or a related role.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Grafana, SolarWinds, Nagios or ManageEngine.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
The salary for this position is ₦150,000 monthly.
