Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of response for IT support.
• Conduct system activity audits to ensure compliance with organisational policies.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain laptops, desktops and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, routers, switches and firewalls.
• Monitor access logs to ensure secure use of systems and devices.
• Install, update and manage organisational IT devices.
• Provide user support for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Ensure timely backup and recovery of important data and systems.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, licences and warranties.
• Implement security best practices in device management.
• Prepare technical reports and document IT activities and incidents.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in laptop and desktop repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with IT asset and device management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Certifications:

• CompTIA Network+
• Cisco CCNA
