The company is recruiting a Level 3 Drilling Engineer in Nigeria to provide engineering planning, well design, surveillance and technical support for safe, efficient and cost-effective drilling and well completion operations.
Location: Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Drilling Basis of Design documentation, including casing design, torque and drag analysis, and hydraulics.
- Develop functional specifications and scopes of work for drilling equipment and services.
- Provide technical expertise and engineering support to Operations and Development teams.
- Ensure well objectives are achieved while maintaining engineering integrity, safety and environmental standards.
- Monitor drilling operations and identify opportunities to improve regional well construction performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in well planning and execution.
- Experience working on international assignments.
- Deepwater drilling experience for candidates applying for deepwater drilling engineering positions.
- Experience using well design software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Relevant industry experience in well planning and execution.
