Job Summary
CANAL+ Group is seeking a Logistics Assistant to manage stock activities and provide support to the logistics team. The role is based in Ibadan and involves frequent trips to Lagos and warehouses in Ibadan and around Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound stock records and maintain stock accuracy.
- Coordinate material deliveries to technical teams.
- Liaise with warehouse service providers and participate in stock counts.
- Monitor defective stock, scrapping and customer materials.
- Maintain proper logistics documentation.
- Support import processes, including Form M, customs assessments, duties, taxes and shipment coordination.
- Coordinate with finance on import-related invoicing.
- Assist with vehicle licensing, insurance, fuel monitoring, maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate with headquarters and logistics service providers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain, warehouse or stock management.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF and Pivot Tables.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in technical products.
- English-speaking; French language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel between Ibadan and Lagos.
